“Who will win the Miss Beauty of the Philippines-USA Crown and move on to Miss World Philippines?”
The Miss Beauty of the Philippines–USA organization is working in cooperation with Ms. Cory Quirino and CQGQ Inc. – license holder of Miss World Philippines 2011 to search for a candidate that will represent the Fil-Am community this September in Manila, Philippines for the Miss World Philippines Pageant!
The night of beauty and glamour will be at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, CA on July 23, 2011. You are cordially invited to experience this Red-carpet event, which is promoting the “Beauty of the Philippines” - its people, culture and land. The first annual pageant will feature top community leaders, artists and industry tastemakers.
Proceeds of this pageant will be donated to PusongPinoy.org, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to organizations in the Philippines that have effective programs designed to help marginalized kids learn and appreciate reading by donating used books to their cause.
The competition for the Miss Beauty of the Philippines-USA title will be an event to remember. Featuring celebrity guest DJ MIA, of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, to grace the DJ booth, choreography by Ruel Noora, sounds and lighting provided by G2 Audio and Lighting. Hosted by Fil-Am Chamber of Commerce co-founder Joe Arciaga and celebrity Giselle Tongi. Ms. Cory Quirino will be a guest of honor.
This event is expected to have 700+ attendees including the Philippine Department of Tourism, Fil-Am Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, local business owners, entertainers, models, artists, and a general audience ranging from 14 years of age and above.
